It is known that Alabama coach Nick Saban is a big supporter of the new proposed college football rule to slow down offenses by putting in a 10-second substitution period between plays. The Crimson Tide coach gave ESPN this comparison...

Probably will start seeing more players falling down with "cramps" or other ailments from the teams that was in favor of the slow down rule. All of a sudden you will start to get data to keep supporting the new proposed rule change. What can the teams that play fast actually say when you start seeing this happen with players falling down? Its not a penalty to do that. All they can, could, and will do is complain and throw their arms in disgust. The fans of the uptempo offense will boo, but what can that do?
