West Virginia and Missouri are close to finalizing a two-game football contract, sources familiar with the negotiations told the Charleston Daily Mail. The Mountaineers will welcome the 2013 SEC East champion to Morgantown in 2016 and play at Missouri in 2019.

WVU last played a series with an SEC team in the 2010-11 seasons, when it lost a road and a home game against LSU. The Mountaineers lost to Alabama in the Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game in the opener this season.
