That is pathetic. Had he not gone to LSU or Michigan State, where would they be?

No where near where they are right now. That's for sure. Ungrateful lot.

Saban has nothing to do with how good Michigan St. is now. He had one good year (unless you consider 7-5 a good year, then he had two) in five seasons. They were winning about 6 games a year before he got there anyway.

So I don't think that one good season he had still has an effect 15 years later.

If that's the logic, then we're still living off of the 10-2 DiNardo year.

I wonder how butt hurt da gump fans would be if he had left them for LSU? Hmmmmm, that's one thing we will never know, because they would never give you an honest answer...
The little guy is a great coach...can't take that away from him...

I love being the center of College Football. Every team and every conversation revolves around us. Hate it or love it, it's a truth.

1999 – Saban led the Spartans to a 9–2 season that included wins over Notre Dame, Michigan, Ohio State, and Penn State.

Here is my HONEST Answer Scooter: "IF Coach Saban left I would thank him for the 3 National Titles and wish him well. But your statement fails miserably. Once someone has worked so hard for Alabama and then decided to leave, you thank him for bring them back to National Prominence.
