Ole Miss QB Jaxson Dart took a few hellacious hits from Alabama on Saturday. On Monday, Lane Kiffin said he called Dart's mother to apologize for her son's treatment "even though it's out of our control." (Or one way to call out the refs without getting fined...)

Lane called the mother of a grown man? He needs to call a few mothers who lost sons in the armed forces. What a douche

What does the arm forces have to do with the team that he coaches?

Should’ve apologized for letting her son put that dumb eye black down one side of his face like a douche.

I was thinking about that. Consider this: if eye black works, which Joe Burrow doesn't do it, but if it does, that means your eyes are adjusting to having it on or not. So putting it on one eye, means only one of his eyes is adjusting to it and the other is not. Each eye doing something different! If eye black works at all, that can only be a negative.

Things will change once Saban retires. There will be no more Bama calls. It's funny how Bama fans came out and complained about the officiating for the LSU game. They get calls every game that no one else would get.

I really don’t understand why coaches and players get fined for speaking the truth about officials. They often dictate the outcome of games, seasons, careers, legacies. A coach or player should be able to sound off if something really egregious happens over the course of a game.

Exactly. The fact that referees and league officials are above reproach just adds fuel to the fire that the conference plays favorites. Zero accountability. BS for the top conference in college football.
