Elite five-star quarterback Jared Curtis has flipped his commitment from Georgia to Vanderbilt on Tuesday, just days before the early signing day period.

Curtis, a 6-4, 225-pound passer from Nashville Christian, is rated the No. 1 quarterback in the country for 2026, according to the 247 Sports composite rankings.

Curtis initially committed to the Bulldogs back in May. Now, he's staying home in Nashville.

The early signing period will officially start on Wednesday and conclude on Friday.

NIL changed college football forever. This kind of player never went to Vandy.

It is his loss.

In any event, it is better to have him walk now than to invest a lot of time and effort before a departure.
