COVID Concerns Might Push National Championship Game, Ohio State Might Be Short On Players
Matthew Emmons-USA TODAY Sports
Monday’s national championship game between Alabama and Ohio State could be pushed...

There are concerns related to Ohio State’s player availability for the game, according to sources, setting up a massive decision less than a week from when the game is scheduled to kick off in Miami. Ohio State has informed key parties involved it could be without a position group due to COVID-19 testing and related protocols.

There have been discussions amongst the SEC, Big Ten, the College Football Playoff and the schools related to possibly postponing the Jan. 11 title game, sources said, though a final decision on the situation has yet to be reached. The CFP has already established Jan. 18 in Hard Rock Stadium as the makeup date should the title game have to be postponed.

They, Ohio State, drank the same Kool Aid that Coastal Carolina did to get out of the SBC Football Championship and to remain undefeated until the "Chickens" were beat Liberty! Lets hope the CFP Championship game isn't rescheduled.

I say just cancel this farce of a playoff. No champion in 2020 season.

I am in favor of the game cancellation, not postponement and ending the 2020 season with no champion.

AKA Justin Fields ribs are really bad and this is the easiest way to give him another week to heal. Now I’ll give Fields credit, he’s a tough cat for playing through the injury in the semifinals, but it isn’t going to heal quick enough to give it another run this quick.

Kudos for him playing after the hit. But, whatever shot Coach Kilmer gave him at halftime only lasts so long. I am sure he was feeling it the next day

This is extra spicy. The Conference that fought not to play, changed the rules to let a team without enough games play in the conference championship, now wants to delay the National Championship game because of Covid? LOL
