Alabama offensive coordinator Doug Nussmeier is reportedly leaving Alabama to become the OC at Michigan. And Nick Saban isn't wasting any time replacing him. According to ESPN's Joe Schad, former USC coach Lane Kiffin is interviewing Thursday to be the Crimson Tide's offensive coordinator. As you can imagine, this is not sitting well with fans. So here are some responses to a potential Kiffin hiring that CollegeSpun.com has posted from Twitter...
Rumors of Lane Kiffin coming to Alabama as OC make me sick to my stomach. Besides being a goof,he has had NCAA trouble everywhere he goes.
Nick Saban can do no wrong - until he hires Lane Kiffin at Alabama.
Lane Kiffin to Bama as OC? Kill me now. #SendHisWifeThough
Just please, for the love of God, don't hire Lane Kiffin as our OC
If Lane Kiffin ends up being the offensive coordinator for The Crimson Tide, then you might as well forget about Alabama football for awhile
Dear SEC teams,
@Lane_Kiffin is a virus to any football organization and should be avoided at all times...
Real Football Fans.
Please don't hire lane kiffin. Please don't hire lane Kiffin.
Lane Kiffin always seems to "come in like a wrecking ball". First UT, then USC, and as soon as he is involved w/ BAMA they lose to Oklahoma
I loathe Lane Kiffin. If he comes to Bama....eww.
Lane Kiffin needs to stay as far away from Tuscaloosa as possible
Lane Kiffin might become the new OC at #Alabama ?! What the hell are you thinking Nick Saban??! Obviously you're not thinking.
Dear Nick...Please do not hire Lane Kiffin! Sincerely, your buddy Don. #RollTide
Lane Kiffin becoming Alabama OC is like an episode of The Twilight Zone.
I guess no one remembers what an arse clown Lane Kiffin is. My dog could call plays for that early 2000's offense.
If Nick Saban hires Lane Kiffin, the internet will break.
