LSU/BAMA 07 vs LSU/OM 26

I remember Saban’s first game back against LSU in 07. While we won that game I remember the feeling of that program will be a problem.
Ole Miss was a final 4 playoff team returning 2 Heisman candidates at home with a chip on their shoulder. LSU was a complete rebuild of a 7-6 team. Only drawback is having to hear shite from the Black Sharks for a year. These programs will look different in the near future.

Well, he left about 3 TD’s on the field cause he couldn’t hit a wide open WR. Not Harris material….but his accuracy is a problem and that’s not an easy fix

I’ll say this. Today, he’s not the guy. To be fair the former #5 here looked very similar in the opener against Florida State and I said the same thing. This ain’t the dude. Then he went win a Heisman. He’s not seeing the field, he doesn’t trust his eyes and the unfortunate, possibly unfixable thing is he’s not very accurate. I believe next week will be the make or break game. If he’s not progressing that may be it for at least this year.

That’s a stout rebuild and we just went up against the #8 team at their house where it meant everything to them, and came back from adversity. Most of these kids on our team didn’t even play in the SEC, it just meant more to them. This is a patchwork team that can be good. Whole seasons ahead of us. If your off the wagon, do us a favor and stay off

LSU and Ole Miss were huge rivals. We hated each other. Him getting drafted by the Saints didn’t make him a Tiger fan. A lot of players typically stay in the area they made home, raised kids, made friends, relationships and never leave. The answer to your question though is I believe he knew his best option for a post player career was here.
