Arkansas starting quarterback KJ Jefferson is expected to enter the NCAA transfer portal, according to Chris Hummer of 247 Sports.

Jefferson has passed for 7,923 yards and 67 touchdowns over his career at Arkansas. He has also rushed for 1,876 yards and 21 touchdowns.

He will have one year of eligibility remaining.

Once the news broke, Jefferson posted on his Instagram that he hadn't made a decision yet.

A few years ago this guy was gonna be a terror. Seems that the finger for his regression has to be pointed at coaching.

No one can convince me this is what the transfer portal was meant for. The guy is a starter. He’s not on the bench. The HC hasn’t been fired. Why transfer? Can sanity please return to college football?

Petrino doesn’t use TEs for QBs. Even if they did used to throw a decent deep ball.
