Last Saturday, James Franklin left Vanderbilt to take the head coaching position at Penn State. Now with less than a month before national signing day, Vanderbilt must move fast to find a replacement for Franklin.

Here are 10 coaching candidates put together by Athlon Sports that could replace James Franklin at Vanderbilt:

Herb Hand, offensive line coach, Vanderbilt

Tom Herman, offensive coordinator, Ohio State

Mark Hudspeth, head coach, Louisiana-Lafayette

Pete Lembo, head coach, Ball State

Mike MacIntyre, head coach, Colorado

Derek Mason, defensive coordinator, Stanford

Chad Morris, offensive coordinator, Clemson

Pat Narduzzi, defensive coordinator, Michigan State

Greg Roman, offensive coordinator, San Francisco 49ers

Kirby Smart, defensive coordinator, Alabama

They need to go after Hudspeth HARD. He's the most qualified IMO. He is a great motivator, great at Xs and Os and can recruit.
