I think so. Florida has been our Kryptonite this year. I like the way we match up with UVA much better, but anything can happen...

Yeah he was awesome last night. That 9th inning was a little dicey but no harm really. I would love Phil to finish it off tonight.

One last game for the title. Virginia got the perfect storm last night and took advantage. I think we flush last night and finish them off tonight.

Benintendi won the Golden Spikes. I disagree with that result. I actually thought he was fourth among the finalists. That award should have gone to Fulmer. Let's hope this makes the team angry, and come out with five runs in the first.

Virginia's pace of play is atrocious. They would get called for shot-clock violations under the 35-second clock in college basketball.

Yeah, it hasn't gotten much better with Waddell on the mound. And this home plate ump has been unbearable.

I didn't watch the game...can someone give me some cliff notes on why the umps won...? What happened?

Buehler got squeezed hard on the strike zone by the ump. Three straight strikes were called balls. It was absurd and it clearly rattled
buehler. The Virginia player even thought he had struck out and had to be called back from halfway to the dugout to bat for "ball" four. Because of this, Buehler had to groove one to the next guy to establish a strike zone. Home run. Whatever.
Worse were the interference calls. UVA runners were popping up at second to try to disrupt the double play. One guy blocked a ball with his head, but it ended up not mattering. Then Pinero in the sixth I think bunted and held onto Delay's glove, blatantly interfering with his ability to throw to second. No call and Virginia gets a run in. At best, should have been a 2-2 game in the ninth. But it's over. They won. I just wish we had lost by five or six runs than to know that shitty calls affected the game.

Dang that's rough...that's a shitty way to lose it all after going that far. Yall had a hell of team this year. I can't wait for that series in Baton Rouge next year
