So far...nobody actually knows that I have seen. Without full video, it is either cop haters or supporters pontificating. Likely a combination of drunk fans and over zealous officers tired of their shite.
To be fair, I had a few Gator fans I kinda wanted to beat the shite out of yesterday.
I will say with uncertainty, they have the trashiest fan base of any I ever interact with.

If your conduct arises to the level of having to subdued by the police in the middle of a football game then all bets are off. Those cops are surrounded by thousands of people and have to be sudden and decisive.
Don’t blame the cops for beating you up if you’re acting like an a-hole.

I mean, neither side tends to send their best and brightest to Jax to be fair. People drink way too much and should be ashamed. I used to be that way. And I was ashamed. And i stopped.
But I think after a day of bullshite, the cops definitely lost control and were definitely mostly in the wrong from what I can tell.

The UGA fan base (that attends games)has changed dramatically over the last 15 years.
Much of this game is UGA Alumni and white folks on vacation. UF is people that drive over.
Huge shift in UGA to suburbanites due to the costs and volume. Most of the UF fan base never got into UF to begin with.
UGA has trashy fans but UF certainly wins that battle.

thats a concerning thought. That was definitely illegal what they did and will cause taxpayer money in the lawsuit settlement. I’m generally more sympathetic to cops. in a job earlier in my career I was around a lot of them. And a minority of them would think nothing about killing you and going in with their day. shite, I’ve been told by a cop before just in passing conversation if I ever broke the law, they’d shoot me rather than trying to go hands on to arrest me because I was almost twice his size and I intimidated him. And I was just a basic suburban bitch at the time
