2015 Florida maybe...I would still say this is way worse though
That's probably the closest comp, letting a mediocre FL team run for 400+ yards is still one of the most baffling football losses I've seen and was similar to the daddying we got in the paint last night

Stegman was of more use as a livestock arena.
I prefer WBB to MBB as the latter has completely abandoned post play and fundamentals.

There are dozens of examples between richt, fox, and stricklin. I know everyone these days is reactionary as all hell and hyperbole rules so anything is the best of all time or literally the worst that's ever existed in the immediate aftermath, but I mean come on. Not excusing yesterday by any means by the way. It was so horrendous I don't really even want to devote any mental energy to thinking about it anymore. But threads like this are just so so stupid
Last night changed me. Dude fricking sucks.
Why were we arse in basketball for 2 decades? No NIL money and recruits had no interest in playing in a dilapidated half empty arena in a school that literally cares more about gymnastics. Sure we'd convince a KCP or Anthony Edwards to play for the home state once in a blue moon but we'd surround them with 2 star walk on level guys.
All for naught these days. We have the NIL money to put a team out there as good as anyone but Kentucky. 10-14 teams from the SEC make the dance every year. Students seem to actually give a frick and don't just show up for the free chickfila sandwich and t shirt like they did when I was there.
The worst two games we've played this century were in the first round of the NCAA tournament. We look like a 16 playing a 1. No wait they actually all kept it close until the end. They weren't losing by 20 and then give up a fricking 12-0 run of dunks after "halftime adjustments".
Thanks for making us relevant but he needs to get his arse fired. We will never be taken seriously if we run it back and do this shite next year

You are and always have been a moron, St Louis, a mid major drops 100 on is, dang near double us up at one point.
Losses against SEC peers don't come close to this loss.
Worst coaching job in the history of UGA sports programs all time, all sports.
Well, you are certainly hungry for attention when it comes to this matter.
• Started a thread
• Made a really bold claim (worst coaching job in the history of UGA sports program all time, all sports)
• Resorted to name calling
…Congrats!

Not really. Fox got to two tournaments. Lost in the first round both times, but one was a 3 point loss to a Washington team with a point guard who had a top 5 MVP finish in the NBA and the other was a competitive 12 point loss to a grossly underseeded Michigan State team who went to the Final Four.
Richt had some embarrassing losses, but I don't ever remember his teams ever losing 35-3 to Vanderbilt or UAB.
Stricklin's team getting steamrolled twice by an unseeded FSU team in the 2019 regional is probably the closest example.
White's two tournament performances are on a different level. Last year, 10 minutes into the game, they were losing 30-5. Gonzaga was better for sure, but that was humiliating. Last night, they turned in arguably the worst performance in NCAA tournament history when you account for matchup. They looked like a 16 seed playing against 2024 UConn even though they clearly had more pure talent and athleticism than St Louis.

Looks to me like a similar situation as Tennessee in the playoffs vs Ohio State last year. Someone wanted a last minute pay increase and didn’t get it, so the team said frick it.

Could be, White let St Louis go on long runs while we were brick after brick and never thought to call timeout and talk with our guys about shot selection.

Tennessee was at least playing in Ohio Stadium against the future NC.
We got humiliated on a neutral floor as the favorite.

You were the only one who started a separate thread when the season thread was working just fine for letting off steam. Grown man attention whoring will never not be bizarre.

Look at the bright side, hardly anyone was watching that late and we won’t have to endure getting beaten by 100 pts against Michigan.
