Just a hunch, but I think offers from the NFL is more of a threat

Sure with Monken and it's part of his background but it won't be because of pay.

Top tier P5 coordinator jobs are just as lucrative as the NFL

But in the NFL, you don't have to recruit or deal with your players having to go to class and tutoring and whatnot, and a much smaller roster to manage.

If anything, Monken hasn't been fancy at all

Not fancy per se but he's doing some pretty obvious things that previous OC's rarely did.

-Taking repeated deep shots vs a stacked box
-Letting Stetson keep the ball on
zone-reads (this play was repeatly
open with Fromm and it was obvious ly a predetermined handoff)
-Incorporating the reverse on a pretty frequent basis in a game plan.

All simple sfuff but all have made
A difference in the way a team defends our offense.

I trust Kirby to replace Lanning, although it would suck.

I don't know if I can trust him to find another Monken. But hopefully he knows and has seen what a good OC is capable of.

I have no idea what they make in the NFL. I would love it if he stays put here, though.

saw that, too. I was taken back by Smith's support. he seemed pretty sure about Bennett.

I just watched a Jordan Davis interview on the upcoming SECCG and towards the end he talked about Stet. His support went above and beyond Smith’s. He is the man.

Confidence and support is a big deal for a QB. Interesting for a defensive player to speak on this, and, I'm sure a leader in the clubhouse.

If you didn't watch it, I posted the video above your post. Worth the watch.

Nauta

I’d bet that Bowers is every bit as good, if not better. At this stage? No doubt.

I can promise you that Bowers won't approach 5.0 in his 40 yard dash.
