Where does Todd Gurley end up?

Hopefully outside the NFCS which doesn't seem really plausible anyway.
Jets are a reach at 6.
Chargers are looking RB, but seem to be locked in on Melvin Gordon.
I think the Cardinals or the Ravens pick him up. And man if he picks it back up to where he was pre-injury he will be an absolute steal at those spots.

Everything I've read lately has him going top 10. If there is a run on pass rushers early, the Falcons could trade down and try and nab him in the mid-first.

Chargers but I would love for him to go to the Falcons!

I would love this of course. I am forgetting about the Dolphins as well. Could definitely end up there.

Not going to lie, as a football player (at least life-style wise), Miami would be awesome.

I think the Falcons should get him. Quinn built a defense with mostly late draft picks and free agents so I think it would be a waste not to take someone like Gurley. You can build a successful defense with late draft picks and free agents.

St. Louis, MZ
He's already taken a good portion of their fanbase to two postseasons.

I'm going to be pissed if the Falcons draft him, or anyone on the offensive side of the ball with their first 2 picks. We need playmakers at linebacker and d line. There are very good options on the board and we shouldn't get caught up in the hometown hype with Gurley. 1000 yard running backs grow on trees and we can get production in the 3rd or 4th.
Don't let this seem like I wouldn't love Gurley to play for the Falcons, we just have bigger needs and wasting top draft picks on a running back would be asinine.

Beasley does not warrant a 1st round pick (at least not early/mid round pick), so if Dupree or Fowler doesn't fall then then I don't want a pass rusher. Trading would be our best option, but it's all depending on who wants to move up and how badly. If we can't move back, then I think our best bet would be RB (Gurley) or OL.

I hope you're right with the Falcons. They've just never been too keen on drafting dawgs...

I want the best for Gurley so the Falcons should either draft him then trade him to the Cowboys or else trade the pick to the Cowboys.
The Falcons are complete losers and they will always be complete losers as long as Blank is the owner.

I would bet money the Falcons wont draft TG. We have way more pressing needs and a defensive minded HC

would give anything to see todd as a phin

I want him at the Falcons for my own personal happiness.
I can't see him falling past 15.

quote:Maybe first round, but he isn't some game changer at the next level, IMO. I almost think the Falcons need to trade down because I don't have faith in many of the pass rushers in this class.
Beasley does not warrant a 1st round pick

Realistically he goes to the Jets, Giants, or Rams
I'd love to see him play for the Dolphins, Lions, Cardinals, or Cowboys if he unforseeably falls
Atlanta would be incredibly cool and it would be impossible for me to be upset, but if they don't use their first pick on defense then the last, tiny, sliver of faith I have in their front office is gone
