Might have to ride him this year...

No real choice unfortunately. Milton can spell him when he gets back healthy, but Edwards is by far the best we have.

I'm just glad this thread is 20 comments in and nobody has used the phrase "running back room" yet. Encouraging.

Is it a RB room if a WR is in it?

Edwards is the only one running downhill hunting for yards. Milton seems to be tiptoeing and blindfolded at the line. The fact UGA had to line Bowers up in the backfield for a 3rd down conversion is pretty telling. Our RB room is hurting.

Milton has been plagued with injuries. We had a lot of hope for him but he can't stay healthy. It seems like if Daijun Edwards gets hurt we are in big trouble at running back and we'll be throwing the ball 60 times a game. It's almost like 95 when the only back we had was Edwards and he was a converted DB; then he got hurt. We go from 5-6 deep last year to now. Why didn't Kirby go to the transfer portal?

Technically he did….

But also, when was he suppose to do that? When our RB situation this summer was:
Edwards
Milton
Robinson
Paul
Robinson 2
Jones
Clark
And some designed runs for TE/WRs
