Yeah, me too. The point is 33 is not half way between shithead and bobo.

You’re right. I was off by 0.8

In Bobo’s last year, UGA averaged 41.3 points a game compared to only 26.3 by Squattin’heimer….so the midway point would be 33.8 instead of 33.0. Sorry for the math error. Was going off memory

And I realize that any points the defense may have scored off turnovers or by special teams are counted in this number. But, so what? Any points the offense gave up on turnovers to opposing defenses or to special teams would be counted in average points allowed per game, so it basically all washes out.

41.3 points per game is a UGA record, I believe. Pretty impressive. Seriously, why do you still hate Bobo?

Chaney is supposedly some kind of versatile wizard in Kirby's eyes that utilizes personnel strengths, no matter what they may be. And isn't stubborn to one singular philosophy. We shall see.

Pretty much the same as I feel. Use our receivers to stretch the field, our TS's to spread the defense and our running backs to close them up. Take advantage of our strengths. Show a little stupid stuff just to waste future opponents film sessions and practice time. Be prepared to run the ball down their throat at the end of a game to close it out. Most of all, execute the plays with out penalties or mistakes.

I think most will be surprised at how good our Wrs are going to be. I know they're young, but there is immense talent and the freshmen, especially Ridley, will be quick learners and will contribute from the start.

I looked up the '14 stats and gave me the '13 ppg average (around 37)

The 33ppg vs ranked teams in '14 pretty close though

Either way,Bobo was vastly underapreciated and was obviously missed

The crazy thing though is that despite 41 points per game one year and only 26 the next.....they both earned us the exact same result. 10 & 3

That almost seems impossible. 41.3 ppg is the UGA record high. And 26.3 ppg is probably close to the record low of the modern era.

The 2015 team would have gone 7-5 against the 2014 schedule.

Why? Because we played Arkansas instead of Alabama?

I guess USCe was better in '14, but we lost to them anyway. Other than that, schedules were pretty similar difficulty-wise IMO.

Played 5 ranked teams in '14 and ended up 4-1 with an average victory margin of 27 points.Including 44 on the #1 ranked defense (Clemson)
The victory margin vs ranked teams is a UGA record BTW

Played 3 in '15 and got skunked.

Ranked when we played them, or ranked at the end of the year? ALabama '15 cancels out Clemson '14. So, beyond that...name a team we played in '14 that was better than they were in '15....

That would be USCe (loss) and Tech (loss). Auburn is basically a wash.

'14 and '15 were carbon copies difficulty-wise.

Ranked at the end of the year.Missouri,Auburn and GT were all ranked and better in '14 along with our bowl opponent Louisville (over PSU)

Lambert would of beaten miZzzouri too when Maulk is hungover throwing 7 interceptions. Also, we lost to Tech in '14 so that's nullified. Honestly I don't even know what we're debating . Kirby needs to hit fairways and sink putts. Instead of Richt being good on offense and bad on defense one year. Then flipping it over the next. Fairways and greens. Birdie the holes you are suppose to.

Correct, lost to 2 unranks that we never should have lost to and crushed teams that we were barely favored to beat (Mizzou and Arky) or underdogs to (Auburn)

Is still doesn'the take away from GT being a top 10 team and
making our '14 schedule more difficult than '15

Very doubtful but we also had Chubb healthy...Schotty would have screwed that game up somehow.

'14 was a strange season.

Schottenheimer was bad but he wasn't bad enough for the offense to score negative points against Missouri. We did shut them out that day.

Thanks for that clarification.Had no idea.

Point is,that we have no idea what situations our beloved ex OC
would put us into.Multiple 3 and outs, pick sixes, stupid 4th down calls, etc and with Lambert at the helm it makes him that much worse as an OC.

Your logic is incredibly off base, and how do you not know we are debating how much tougher the 2014 schedule was compared to the easy 2015?
