I'm talking about fans of certain types of music taking that music so hilariously serious....that they think mind-altering zombie drugs are required in order to enjoy it fully.
I actually enjoy it sober just as much. My point was that mind-altering drugs lead you to pick up on different aspects of the music that you didn't appreciate before. Generally that appreciation holds true even once you sober up.

You people can see my point now, right?
I mean, I only have to change two or three words from your above post for it to be the EXACT same thing a strango-jerker would say.
Here...
quote:
"I actually enjoy regular jerking just as much. My point was that strangling yourself leads you to pick up on different aspects of the jerk that you didn't appreciate before. Generally that appreciation holds true even once your oxygen levels go back to normal."

You changed more than 10 words. I do not follow.

I’m not a strango-jerker so I can’t really comment on the pluses and minuses. If they like it, more power to them.

JeffersonDawg seems to have intimate knowledge about all these evils. I believe that he only posts when he is on acid and strangle-jerking to Black Sabbath.

Not defending strangle jerking btw

Eyes of the World- More Grateful Dead
Right outside this lazy summer home
You ain't got time to call your soul a critic no
Right outside the lazy gate of winter's summer home
Wondering where the nut-thatch winters
Wings a mile long just carried the bird away
Wake up to find out that you are the eyes of the world
The heart has it's beaches, it's homeland and thoughts of it's own
Wake now, discover that you are the song that the morning brings
But the heart has it's seasons, it's evenings and songs of it's own
There comes a redeemer, and he slowly too fades away
And there follows his wagon behind him that's loaded with clay
And the seeds that were silent all burst into bloom, and decay
And night comes so quiet, it's close on the heels of the day
Wake up to find out that you are the eyes of the world
The heart has it's beaches, it's homeland and thoughts of it's own
Wake now, discover that you are the song that the morning brings
But the heart has it's seasons, it's evenings and songs of it's own
Sometimes we live no particular way but our own
And sometimes we visit your country and live in your home
Sometimes we ride on your horses, sometimes we walk alone
Sometimes the songs that we hear are just songs of our own
Wake up to find out that you are the eyes of the world
The heart has it's beaches, it's homeland and thoughts of it's own
Wake now, discover that you are the song that the morning brings

There really is no other final destination.
This is one of my favorites, I love the song and video. I still think of it as "new" Primus even though it is probably 15 years old.
Primus- Tragedy's a Comin' (with galloping astronaut)
