Probably emotion involved. 2017 was a huge year, and He absolutely didn’t want to force a transfer for Fromm. Kirby wanted to keep both. Guess that was both foolish and selfish. He overplayed his hand, and we all have paid the price. Even peter and foo, though neither will never admit it for varying reasons.

Proving Dabo made the right choice when Kirby didn’t have the guts to do the same? Talk continues. Only way it might not continue is if both qbs Fromm it up.

Not really, because it still doesn't change the facts. Fromm is the biggest issue with this offense. There are other issues that need addressing, but none of it matters if he does not start playing better.
Fromm was overhyped after that Freshman season when we made it to the national championship. This team's success is mostly down to running game and defense, with Fromm not screwing it up and managing the game. If you look at his numbers, they're not much different. His season stats every year are rather pedestrian. His best attribute is he doesn't throw many picks, but he also doesn't take many chances either. Fromm is what he is, a manager of the game and a good leader. I don't think that's enough unless we're simply better and more talented than everyone else. From 1-85 we're more talented than LSU, especially if you follow recruiting the last 3-4 years. Where did that get us?

Nowhere in my post did I mention OSU, Fields or the like. My only concern is Jake Fromm's play because he's all we've got, unfortunately. It could be worse, so there's always a silver lining. For what it's worth, having a critical discussion about our QB and anemic offense is not being divisive. I can see how it might be that way to the Fromm apologist.

I’m giving you the benefit of the doubt being a troll because I can not believe you and your alts are stupid enough to use Jake Fromm as a proof source as to why Smart would favor an incumbent and miss winning a SEC Championship and miss going to the playoffs for favoring the incumbent QB. Seriously, you have to be a troll or someone so emotionally distracted that you forget very recent history. Facts mean nothing to this variety of trolls, so it is kinda pointless to attempt to de-troll trolling. At least when I troll, I bring a deeper level of understanding of the subject matter and make fun of people who have no idea, yet post like they are experts. Have a nice day sir.
