Anyone hearing anything about the likelihood we land anyone off their roster?

only guy worth going after would be To'o To'o. But most seem to think he is going out west

Surprised they don't have more talent worth looking at. I think Pruitt's recruiting rankings had been pretty decent.

Have no idea where he is going, but I do like him.

BUT, we are loaded at that position and don't need a transfer. You start transferring people in over the kids you recruited and soon they start leaving.

As much as I like him, we should stay far away, imo.

Pruitt finds diamonds in the rough.
That was his M.O. in Athens. I think that is what he has done best in knoxville (except for OL).

Im not shocked that the only player who would upgrade would be that MLB (and we might be better once the season is done due to talent level)

I might consider Alontae Taylor as a DB off their roster.

We wanted him badly at one point, but it could have been as a WR over a DB.

There was a big 5-star lineman they have, but I can't put my finger on who that was...

I personally think Eric Gray is a stud and would bolster our backfield.

We already have 6 top RBs. Yes, Gray is better than some, but not as good as others.

Zamir, Milton and McIntosh are all probably better. We won't have enough carries for the backs we have.

The Portal is essentially for shoring up weak areas or areas we fall short in experience. We could use DBs, and that is about it. I get that we would go after Gilbert, but that's about all, and only because he brings something to the table that we don't already have outside of Washington.

That said, I think we are fine without Gilbert, and would just as soon leave him alone, too.

I think he’s pretty damn good but we’re already stacked at RB

The running back room is full but Gray would probably be top two in Athens.
