LSU currently is 31st in rush defense while we are ranked 2. Rushing defense

We are 33rd in the nation in rushing while LSU is 57th overall.

They also have given up 27 sacks this year which ranks 77th. We are ranked 63th overall in sacks with 26 which is not overly impressive.

We have given up only 9 sacks this year which ranks 3rd. LSU is 37th in sacks with 30 on the season.

Keep in mind we didn't give a up a single sack against Florida and they lead the SEC and are ranked 4th in the nation.

Overall, LSU is good on the LOS but stats show they're not dominant. Their Dline is thinner and not as strong especially when compared to their usual standard. We probably won't be able to run it on them right at the start, but if our Line gives Jake some time and he completes passes, I think we can get them to back up. I really believe our Oline can assert themselves and wear the LSU Dline out as the game goes on. Meaning Deandre Swift time!

An LSU poster mentioned that one of their biggest weaknesses on defense is defending runs to the outside. In other words we need to do what we do best and make their defense chase after our backs. None of that running up the middle three straight times crap

That's why this was one of the main things I wanted to see v GT. Also their LB's aren't the best in coverage and neither are their safeties. Delpit isn't bad, but DRob in the slot will get free. TEs and slot receivers on seams, slants, and crosses will be there if we take them.

It's also a numbers game. If the box is stacked you still aren't going to run through it.

Let Coley know that. Obviously, he doesn't get that concept.

That's why I said Fromm is gonna have to make throws to back them up.

Hopefully Coley's arse is on the line tomorrow and he calls the game of his life.

This is a well thought out and researched post. I congratulate you on your ability to find statistics that back up your point of view.

I have no statistical data to post.

But as I see it

Fromm balls out, we win.
Fromm sucks arse, we don't.
