Baylor won’t be lethargic. It doesn’t get any bigger than this for them.

Heck, who knows who is going to play in the game from either team? Bowls are fast becoming irrelevant for teams that lose CCGs. Baylor might be as lethargic as Georgia. Who knows?

Baylor has to prove their worth every game of every season. If they can get bragging rights by beating us they will come with everything they've got.

Last year, the excuse was that we had just lost closely to Bama. We just got obliterated by LSU - I hope our guys have some pride and play the damn game.

Tennessee Williams said America has three great cities New York City, New Orleans and San Francisco. Everywhere else is just Cleveland. Love me some Nola but damned if i’m droppIng all that cash to watch us no-show again.

I lived there, other cities with cleaner, safer entertainment have surpassed it.

The super Dome is 20 years past due for demolishion.

Sheesh. I’m assuming AT and Swift don’t play.

Thomas would hurt a little, but we are overloaded at Oline and I would guess if Wilson stays he would be moved over to LT and maybe Mays goes to RT, Salyer or Cleveland to Mays spot? Just guessing.

I would also like to see White and McIntosh get some much needed carries and action. it could give us a bit of a preview of where we stand for next year. We have the depth to survive a few players not playing. 3 weeks off gives us a chance to get some guys healthy, too. Maybe showcase Cager for the NFL.

Could be what he needs to get untracked.

Being from La and having a ton of family obviously I’m biased.

I was set to move there a couple years ago after 22 years in Athens. Had an offer on a house in the bywater and everything but my wife balked last minute. I was disappointed but I love Athens too.

I get that Nola is gritty, dirty, funky and borderline sinister. Yet it’s dripping with heart and soul. I could never get my fill of the food and music by just visiting several times a year.

Kids in nola are as likely to have a pick-up brass band jam session as basketball game.

I love, love, love visiting new orleans but a 3rd trip in 12 months is really hard to justify. And as mentioned we have the same issue as last year from a "fired up" standpoint. Our guys are disappointed and going through the motions while baylor hasn't been there since the 60s. Texas last year that was their first "big" bowl game in like 9 years and it's close, their fans adn team couldn't be happier to be there playing a big team like UGa. It'll be the same thing with baylor. I might have tried to convince myself to go if it was another big name like texas but baylor? Yawn. I'll save the nearly $1K and watch at home.

To me, this situation isn't similar to last year. Last year GA lost to Bama at the last second and felt like they should be in the playoffs. This year GA got its arse handed to them in front of the world. There is zero argument GA should be anywhere other than at the Sugar bowl. If they can't play hard to prove that the SEC Championship game was a 1 game fluke, then they all need to take a really long look in the mirror, coaches and players.
