They tried to pin that fight on Gurley but didn't take into account the video evidence. So they had to go and do this.
The CFO, Crumley, didn't want to play ball so they fired him and tarnished his reputation, destroyed the man.
Now the chickens are coming home to roost.

Smart man, side not I've got some bad arse autographed jerseys for my man room

If he denies it then UGA is off the hook in a sense. They can play him since they don't have any reason to believe he's guilty

Can you imagine the calamity that will ensue if he turns out to be innocent?

If he plays every single person better do the show me the money gesture. And Gurley better play his rich arse off.

This came from our compliance office, not the NCAA
one possible pro to this could be the time of the investgation. Maybe they will just ask Gurley if he did it, he says no. Schhol backs their athlete and lawyers up for ensuing shite storm.

If he is denying everything then he should play. Innocent until proven guilty. If Richt and the administration still holds him out of the game, then he should give them the finger, and just not play for those clowns anymore.

Given the current legal issues, can you imagine the calamity this is going to cause in future court cases?

SI.com has learned that a person confirmed to Georgia’s compliance office this week that he paid Gurley $400 to sign 80 items on campus in Athens, Ga., one day this past spring. The person claimed to have a photo and video of Gurley signing the items, but neither the photo nor the video showed money changing hands.

Someone could have a photo of every player on our roster signing an autograph, but if there is no proof of money exchange the NCAA doens't have shite.
Hell how is that any different than people signing stuff at picture day or GDay? Players are allowed to sign whatever they want. It all comes down to is there proof of money exchange.
