Eh, maybe, all the more reason to throw a double team at him every once in a while.

Good W tonight, hope it gives us some momentum moving forward.

Great win, absolutely great.

I'll never ever downplay or poopoo a win especially one as good as this one so I'm certainly happy right now, but I still don't think Fox is the answer.

Have to continue to improve defensively but a win at Marquette in the road would be another Huge win. I’m assuming Marquette is as good or better than last season.

Great team win tonight. 5 guys in double figures. Yante and the bench the bench had 1 only turnover the whole game. If they keep improving all around we can be a very dangerous team due to depth.

They are. Wojo is building a good program there in his third year.

Lost to two ranked teams this year and played close with VCU and LSU.

Looks like they score a lot. It doesn’t look like they play good defense. When they play us it will be their third game of the week and our only game of the week.

Looks to setup well for us with fresh legs and confidence. Let’s hope we keep our offensive rhythm.

Big win. Got back from church and had the game recorded so sorry for not updating the thread during the game. Glad to see Crump play well after his last two disastrous games. Getting consistency from guys not named Yante gives this team a little bit of hope.

Great win tonight. Turtle gained a lot of confidence on this Cali trip. Crump came alive a bit, Ogbeide had his best game of the year so far, Claxton and Hightower getting experience. A lot to like tonight against a very good team. Hope this carries into Saturday. Really fun game to watch today.

I don't think it's unreasonable to be happy with a win but remain skeptical of Fox. As I've said many times, I'll happily eat crow if Fox shows us something new this year... It's a decent start... This was a good win. Going to need to get some more and then hold our own in conference though to make the dance. Upside is the perception of the league is high this season...

it's just so tiresome. our program is in the best and most consistent spot it has EVER been in. we have sustained above average performance for the first time ever. we are slowly building our recruiting AND doing it the right way which is basically impossible.

we go to a tournament on the west coast and go 2-1 with a win on one opponent's home court and another win against st. mary's who will hopefully be a tourney team. and here we are with a "everything is going well, but i don't think fox is the guy" post.

just fricking wait to post that (i know it wasn't you) until we lose on saturday or something. when we win, just keep the fire fox boner in your pants for a minute.

This I'll agree with... as I've said... I really want to be wrong. I *like* Fox... he's a likable guy... he's funny sometimes... seems to really like UGA. If he could start making tournaments with any semblance of regularity and give us a slow steady simmer into relevance, I'm good with that... I just have a hard time buying it based on what we've seen from him up until this year. Definitely a make or break year IMO with Yante gone after this season.

Who knows how this season will turn out but it does look good so far. Still have a lot of tough games to go and I really like the depth of this team. Nobody that we put on the floor, besides Mike Edwards, that make me cringe. We definitely still have areas to improve such as turnovers and defense.

That being said, if everybody stays healthy we have a team that is mixed with experience and youth that could give us a run of strong play for the next several years.

Hopefully the recruit we have coming in to replace Yante will develop. Also have a guy to replace Juwan Parker that is longer, more explosive and better athletically. If they both develop we could realistically be set up for some longer term success. We are going after one more recruit, Khavon Moore. He would step in and play immediately.

Last thing, apparently the NBA is about to open up to allowing high school kids again but the kids that are going to college will be required to stay for two years before going pro. This could play perfectly into UGa’s hands as it would force the Kentucky’s of the world to actually develop kids over 3-4 years and we are already built to do that.
