We lose 2 in a row and you've suddenly had enough? You just want to lay down and let Missouri represent the East every year?

TBH, you really need to get over that chicken little attitude

Richt is 2-3 in them. Can't win them if you don't play in them

That 2012 game is the best CFB I've ever seen even if we lost. I'd love to see that again this year. Well with a different outcome obviously...

Talking heads on ESPN all agreed that Dawgs will be in the final 4 if they win out, and make it to and win the SECCG. That's the only path, of course. And I believe it's one that can happen with some help from the Hawgs.

Up until about 2 days ago I wanted to play anyone BUT bama. And it's not about being "scared" or a pussy, I just think they're by far the best team in the west, so playing MSU would be more advantageous for us to get the win. But earlier this week that changed for 2 reasons.

1)If we want to have any shot at the playoff, we need to beat the #1 ranked team, which would be bama.
2)But maybe more than that...we can flat out beat those guys. No we probably aren't as good as 2012, but they DAMN sure aren't as good either. They still have an aura about them because saban is their coach and their "Alabama", and they've earned that for sure. But this isn't the same bama of the last few years. This is a bama that has a pretty good QB, an elite WR, pretty good RBs (but not as good as ours likely), not as good of an OL as they've had in a while, and a defense that's a notch below what they're used to as well. This is a bama that lost to an ole miss team that will likely be unranked come sunday. A team that needed overtime to beat an LSU team that could end up finishing LAST in teh west. Barely beat a MSU team that I've never thought was as good as their billing. And struggled for a half against western carolina.

Bama is still damn good and they have every right to be #1. But they are by no means unbeatable. Mason is playing out of his mind right now. Chubb/Sony can stack up with anyone. Our OL is likely the best (or at worst, 1B with 2002) we've had under Richt. Our receivers are making plays. Our ST is lights out. And our defense is getting better every single week. I would still be nervous as all hell going into the game, and likely most of the game as well, but dammit if we want to step up and live up to OUR billing we have to beat bama. And I have no doubt that we're capable of it.
