I like Fox but I just always think we are one year away and then the next year we still have the frustrating issues of like 8 minute scoring droughts and poor free throw shooting that cost us 5 games a year. I just don't think we will ever be a consistent tourney team which might be unrealistic for us anyway

Frank Martin has done in 4 years at South Carolina what Fox has been incapable of building and maintaining in 8

Let's just move on...with their best player they have barely lost to some really good teams and we should have won.

We have a chance to be 4-1 going into Florida before we get slaughtered by them in Gainesville.

Frank Martin also has the full backing of his AD. USC has built state of the art facilities for their program, while we're still polishing turds.

SC is pretty good. Frank Martin was a pretty dang solid coach at K State as well. An unfortunate loss, but not a terrible one by any means. Just wish we could have gotten a couple more rebounds at the end of the game.

I'm sorry, I was wrong we can be 3-1 going into Florida. Assuming we lose that game and win the ones we should, we would add 7 wins between now and the time we play Kentucky and then our schedule will get brutal!

He was the three seed last year, right?

Regardless, I agree with your point. 1-4 in his last 5 games against fox

He's done ok, don't get me wrong. They will finish top 6 this year but so will we.

The mark fox hate is beyond fricking dumb. I just don't even know what basketball program our fans think they are supporting. The one sure fire way to frick the program up is to get rid of the guy who has brought us stability at the top half of the conference.

Teshaun hightower is on an official visit right now. He is a guard who didn't have the grades and went to prep school instead of JuCo. Apparently he is playing so well in this prep league that he would be a top 100 recruit but he flew under the radar last season. I guess he is a big target for the spring signing period.

I was really hoping we would get another quality big man but I guess that will be Nick Claxton.

TeShaun Hightower will commit on February 14. He is a 6'5 point guard that went to prep school so we can have him for 4 years and he just finished up his official at UGA.

Recruiting class would like this.
6'8 SF/PF widely viewed as a top 50 player that can do it all.
6'11 Big man who can shoot and is a project but a good athlete with very good ball skills
6'5 Point Guard who can shoot and Slash and broken out

Possibly one will sign one more kid. Throw these kids in with next years team and we will be okay. 2019 looks very promising if these kids do what they are supposed to do on and off the court and stay healthy.

Not too shabby. Wendell carter woulda been nice though

Turtle
Harris
Juwan
Yante
DO

Hammonds, Hightower, diatta, Edwards, crump off the bench.

not a terrible, starting lineup next year. Good enough for another nit and another year of people bitching about Mark fox. Could be a little better than that if ogbeide continues progressing and Harris takes a nice step forward.
