Especially considering the expectations coming into the season. I live a couple of blocks up from foley and the parking/atmosphere in the neighborhood has been like a football game this weekend.

So we have an opportunity to be good again next year? What about pitchers?

Finley, Smith, and Harris all return and figure to be at least good if not much improved as a 3 man rotation.

Big question mark is the bullpen which will lose most of who we’ve seen this year. We will return Marsh and Radtke but that’s about it (not including guys like Coleman Willis who have pitched sparingly). Evans could/should return and he has good enough stuff to be a solid midweek starter if he can find some confidence.

But I’d love to see us make a splash with a bigger arm, whether starter or closer. At this rate, we need any help we can get.
