Has there been anything published as to how TV priority works this year between CBS and ESPN?

Thanks. From another board.
The contract that CBS has with the SEC allows them one SEC game a week and CBS has their first choice of any SEC game each week. The contract also states that CBS will get three times a year to televise two games on the same weekend. All three weekends that CBS will televise two games are in the month of November this season. ESPN and the SEC Network have the rights to all the other SEC games.

Company just gave me our UGA v UT tix. Trying to guess game time for planning.
Looks like I will make every game this year.

Other games that weekend:
UF @ missouri
LSU @ SC
Arkansas @ Bama
I'd imagine the 3:30 CBS will be either us or bama. I doubt we fall to noon but who knows. Dependign on how good arkansas is up to that point, we may be looking at a night game in neyland.

Doesn't CBS do one night game?

That makes sense. Likely a week before decision.
Sound like either 3:30 or night then. I know our company tix are surrounded by UT donors. They were not happy with me a couple years back.
Gees I hope I don't have to deal with them at night.

In one of the aforementioned doubleheaders they have they do a 3:30 and an 8. Another double header is noon and 3:30, and I have no clue what the 3rd is. I thought they just had 2...I didn't realize until this thread that they have 3 doubleheaders this year.

The first games of the season CBS picked up do not go against their contract as they are licensed from ESPN.
The two early-season games added to the SEC ON CBS schedule, Louisville vs. Auburn in the Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game from the Georgia Dome in Atlanta, Ga. on Saturday, Sept. 5 (3:30 PM, ET) and Georgia at Vanderbilt on Saturday, Sept. 12 (3:30 PM, ET), are through a sublicense agreement with ESPN.

UT plays OU, FL, and Arkansas before us. I have a feeling they'll be 3-2 when we play. If that's the case, the 3:30 game goes to Bama.
We'd be competing against OU @ Texas, GT @ Clemson, or TCU @ K State for a night spot...ABC, ESPN, or ESPN2.
I would not be surprised at all see us end up @ 12pm on SECN.

Hold up...so which network has the Dawgs this weekend? I thought it was on the SEC Network?

That'll be a noon kickoff. It's a tradition.

That'll probably be a night game. I doubt either team has a loss before then. We could be looking at a nooner on ESPN (OU/TX will be ABC) or a 7:00 pm kick on ESPN2.
