I am seeing alot of talk that he could go #1 in the draft. I knew he was good. But is he #1 good? Not downgrading him just caught me by surprise they are talking about him at #1. Would be awesome if he does go at 1.

The combine put him over. If he pulls it off, he deserves it.

As far as production some of that is situational to what we had call vs what his duties were.

He is the absolute super prototype for the nfl. Size, speed, strength....

NFL teams place supreme value on athletic pass rushers.

That and his size and versatility (can play like 4 different positions) make him very attractive to GM’s

His numbers may not reflect a number one draft pick but that’s primarily because he’s been playing on a defensive line with three other first rounders. There’s only so much stats to go around.

Think of it this way. If we played a more traditional/ simple defense and he played like a 4-3 DE, he’d have had 10+ sacks a year with us. We just move our chess pieces around more. Less individual statistics. More team success.

I’ve thought he was most talented lineman on our roster for the last two seasons. He would drop back in coverage from edge and cover a tight end or tail back step for step. His combine and pro day just confirmed he is an alien.

Dude is totally an alien. His reach is freakish. He just reaches out with his arms that are too long and reels runners in. Nice to see the pros have realized this.

Also way underrated - Channing Tindall and Quay Walker.

Both will be steals for whichever NFL team picks them up.
