Hey guys I have a lil' dilemma with buying tickets for the Clemson game. My brother wants to go to the game with me, but doesn't have the money. Tickets are high as shite obviously, so should I buy online or get them from a scalper? I've honestly never bought tickets on the day of the game from a scalper. Honest input would be much appreciated, and not smart arse answers please lol.

Tuff call dawg... just depends what you're willin' to pay for the convenience of tix in hand so you can tailgate & enjoy yourself before the game vs. the thrill of scalping tix from some frickin' yahoo on a street corner in Clemson... Good Luck...

Hmmm.... Clemson fans are tight with tickets I think.. they will be like ants and your best bet will be to buy the tickets online and avoid the scalping, imo

You ain't never lied, my sister goes to Clemson and doesn't even like football. I can't even get her to sell me her tickets. I'll just buy it online. Thanks guys for the input.

scanned their board and Clemson fans wanna buy tickets for $100(rock bottom price), I think the fair value is at $200... StubHub is at $265.., I'd jump on a $200 deal it presented itself or maybe wait for some fans that want $200 or less on gameday.. Warning: Buncha fake tickets were sold by scalpers at UGA vs Carolina last year and I watched people turned away at the gate after spending big bucks.

I'm in the same kinda boat. How much do you think it would cost to scalp as compared to going to stubhub? There will be scalpers who aren't students, btw.

My gameplan would be to get on the phone w/ Clemson contacts and let it be known you are offering $150 and then monitor StubHub.

Trust I've been having my sister call all her friends at school to see who would part with their tickets.

If you can score them for $200 or under before game day, I would jump on that. Otherwise, I think you'll be able to find a ticket for between $150 and $200 outside of the stadium. Maybe less if you are willing to go in right after kickoff but there may not be any tickets left at that point.

Scalp...wait until about 15 mins before game time. Then get from a white dude with wife, kids, grandparents, aunt, uncle, and girlfriends standing around waiting on him to sell, so they can all go in...

I would go to the game dressed in orange, buy tickets then put your red and black back on. Course this being the first game of the year and it's against UGA, won't make it any easier.

Buying on gameday is definitely cheaper if you are smart about it. Beware of fakes and don't just take the first deal you find. As others have said, closer to kickoff (sometimes even after) tickets get cheaper.
It's a matter of whether you value the security of knowing you have a ticket in hand that buying online gives. However, there is no question tickets on gameday are cheaper than stubhub.

If you buy online...wait until last minute. People will over price them and occasionally desperate people will drop them at the last minute. As for scalpers, the bigger the game the greater the chance you are gonna get ripped off. I am not sure if Clemson uses the scanners or not.
