You're right. We gave him a scholly to make plays on Saturdays, and he's still likely to make more of those next year than most of the guys on our team, even after missing three games.

so....that makes it ok? I'm sorry...so how many games is he allowed to miss and get a free pass? Is there an algorithm or equation for this? Because,,if so...we need to get this right..i mean...because it sounds like your making an excuse for the man....(apologetic)

maybe...something like x = number of games missed for JHC where y = number of players on the team and r is the average of number of plays made for "other" players..and p could represent other players and z could be the unidentified number of plays he could have made where ^to infinity would represent how many joints he smoked before the game..or does that even matter...

so we have y/r^infinity * p -z = 7.7 or something like that...

But what about the plays he doesn't make vs Clemson & SCjr that may well cause his "TEAM" the game. He'll also have to sit out the Troy game & the bye week...

How sharp is he gonna be Sept 27 vs Jones & a UT team that took us to OT last year? Then Vandy & at Mizzou the next 2 weeks??

Hell... I guess it really won't matter anyway if we lose to Clemson & SCjr because of our poor "mis-understood" weed smoking players, so I guess it's all good...

Should we have kicked Ogletree out? He did the same shite. He came back after 4 games and was a crucial player for us the rest of the way.

The reality is that everything is on a curve. Some players might get another chance when others wouldn't. It's not fair, but life's not fair. Georgia football isn't a charity.

We are all human. We all make mistakes. His mistakes are highlighted because of his athletic ability. that's the reality of it. Maybe he doesn't respect his gifts but I prefer to think that he will get it fixed and that as humans we all grow and improve. I'm the last person that would condemn someone for fking up.

Does that mean we should kick him off the team, effectively taking away plays he could've made to help us win games the rest of the season?

He made a mistake. He's being punished. It's not ideal, but it's not in our best interest to make an example of him.

Who said I was ever ok with that? Your damn right it's not a charity....they get a lot of money from me..they need to get it straight up there..lol.And I don't want him kicked off,,,let him serve his time..and I hope he comes back with a vengeance.It just erks me when individuals apologize for other bad behaviors....life isn't fair..got caught he gonna do the time...

By that I mean that your treatment varies by your worth to the organization (or whatever entity).

In JHC's case, he might get a mulligan here or there because he's talented.
