I kick myself a little for getting worked up over it. I would almost guarantee that the worst offenders in here are ATL transplants that get equally as braindead livid over this as they do when the phillies, or jets, or some hockey or wnba team loses

My dad is a Munson era Dawg that expects us to lose damn near every game. But he’s not nasty and bitter and doesn’t hate on players and coaches. That’s just him.
This bunch seems to be just miserable. They get pissed off, hate on players and want fire everyone series to series…as if every play is supposed to work. Every group of kids should be as good as the last group. Every player should be a 1st rounder. It’s like they’ve never played real sports and their fandom is their competitive outlet. When their favorite team doesn’t win they take it personal, light players and their families up on social media and might TP these kids houses.
And the “Disney Dawg” thing pisses me off. That was a term attached to people that wanted to keep CMR after he failed to get us even close to an SECCG for 10 fricking years. I fought against that in the day because I just wanted UGA to be relevant. In the picture. We’re that now in spades.
It’s like some tie dye douchebag trying to identify with the hippy movement from the 60’s and claim oppression because their Ivey league college is having a TPUSA event.

Brother the early game meltdown and second half glorification is essentially gsb game thread ceremony at this juncture. In a way it is quite cathartic. Id not read into off hand comments made about single plays in a game too much imho

For the past couple seasons I’ve wondered if Kirby just enjoys putting the team in difficult in-game situations to help build moxie for when it really matters later in the playoffs. Ya know, the kinda stuff you can’t really simulate in practice.
