1-Clemson win looking better. They don’t play Miami and appear to be the two leaders for ACC. Plus Clemson was a neutral site game.

2-The fight we showed at end of Bama may matter at the end of the Season.

3-We (likely) have 3 top 10 teams left to play. 2 on the road. Regardless of whether we make the SECCG, resume is strong. We possibly could lose close to Texas and get in. Don’t think we could lose to Tenn or Ole Miss and get in. It would let one or both of them jump us. Especially Tenn/Ole Miss being late in season.

4-Big 12 and ACC are weak.

12 teams as of now :

1 Big 12
2 Acc (Clems/Miami)
4 Sec (all but 4 teams still in mix)
3 Big 10 (5 teams in mix)
1 ND (unless USC bests them)
1 Group of 5 conf champ/highest ranked

We have a top 5 strength of schedule.

Assuming Georgia beats everyone they should and then wins 2 of 3 against Texas, Ole Miss, Tennesse then there is no question. Dawgs would be in at that point.

We don't have to play Vandy. Texas and Tennessee have to play that monster in a haunted Nashville stadium.

And Ole Miss and Tennessee. We totally control our destiny, including the SECCG and potential first round bye.

With a 12 team playoff we're practically guaranteed to mak ethe playoffs unless we go down a notch or two from the level that we've become accustomed to. Great for the program but kinda weakens the whole product IMO, that's another story though.

Ole miss presents some issues but they don't really scare me much. I'm curious to see how they do against LSU this weekend. Texas is solid and we very well may lose to them, who knows. A 10-2 record though gets us 100% into the playoffs. I'm not saying I WANT this by any means, but honestly it woulnd't be the worst thing ever to go 10-2 and miss the SECCG. That's one mor eweek of rest and we seem to be beat to hell in eraly December the last few years. We'd end up probably a 6-8 seed so we'd get to host a home playoff game against some overmatched scrub that we should have no problems with.

Who are we supposed to get back from injury in the upcoming few weeks? Any huge play makers? I know Tate was a big loss

We've been hearing jordan hall is close for a while so you have to think that he'll be ready by austin. Tate had tightrope surgery which seems common these days and I know he went from crutches to just a boot (I think) but I hvae no idea on how long that takes. Mondon was on crutches so he's probably out for a while if not all season. Jared Wilson was questionable so I have to think he's probably fine, honestly with Bobo playing admirably I may just prefer him go against MSU and save jared for texas
