On the turnpike, at the end, as you are entering NY, you have to pay $14 (full length), and immediately have to pay $15 to NY just a hundred yards later to cross the Washington Bridge.

Total scam.

I don't see how it is legal to charge state tolls on federal interstate highways.

Trump could probably abolish this with the stroke of his pen.

He'd probably be assassinated.

It's free to cross the Walt Whitman bridge from Philly, but costs $5 to go from Jersey pack to PA.

Worth every cent.

Headed to Fords NJ in Sept for my better half's 50th HS reunion. She went to JFK Memorial HS in Iselin/Woodbridge a few miles from Perth Amboy across the river from Staten Island...

She went to school with Robert Hegyes(Juan Epstein from Welcome Back Kotter)and Tico Torres(drummer from Bon Jovi)...

Will be my 1st trip to Jersey and NYC, kinda looking forward to it, her family moved South to Augusta in '74 and she's only been back a few times for her 25th reunion and a coupla funerals...
