IIRC jason campbell was on a recruiting visit to us that game and heard some people in the crowd calling Quincy the n-word and he dropped us.

Ironic that he went to college in Alabama, then.

The losses that bother me the most are the ones that were caused by idiotic decisions by the head coach.

I wanted Mark Richt fired after his year one brain fart against Auburn. I wanted Richt fired after he turned pussy on our initial drive of the 2010 Liberty bowl. I wanted Richt fired after he failed to spike the ball at the end of the 2012 SECCG. Not many people were happier than me when Richt was fired.

The ones that piss me off are the ones with the lack of effort (someone mentioned the 2009 Tennessee game and that's probably the best example) and the ones where Georgia loses to teams that shouldn't be anywhere near good enough to beat them. 2014 Florida fits this example.

See the squib kick against Tech in 2014. Poor play call and poor execution, not to mention Tech's kicker having the kick of his life.

It didn't cost us a chance at any championships, but it did keep us out of a major bowl game. Plus any loss to Tech is sickening.

Not to mention Richt using a timeout to ensure the kicker getting a fair shot. That was much dumber than the squib.

So this is what upward trending progams, fresh off a national championship appearance narrowly lost in OT...…. do in the off-season?

They huddle up and jerk to each other';s misery memories?

Yeah, cOunt me out, losers.

In a way, though, I don't blame the GSB....After always being so wrong about everything always, like such as Eason and poor Chaney, etc for recent examples

Best to stick to past misery, where the record is known.

Before last season, I also posted that Fromm should start. I doubted that Eason would ever consistently deliver the ball on time and on target.

I was slightly negative on Chaney. He is better than I thought he was.

Before the 2017 season began there was literally zero reason at all to believe that Fromm should start.

Wrong. I watched Eason's freshman performance where he missed frequently on easy passes. Eason wasn't accurate and couldn't get timing down.

I saw Fromm's senior year game against Mary Persons on TV. Fromm's performance in that game was amazing. I hadn't attended a HS game since 1967 but I drove a couple of miles to take in Fromm's game against Lee County. Even though Houston County lost that game I came away sold on Jake Fromm.

I had ample information to base my decision that Fromm was much better than Eason.

Don't I assume that I lacked information just because you lacked information.

There were several experts who said that Fromm was better than Eason before last season including Tarkenton, Rush Probst and several other experts who watched last year's fall practices.

Yea, that UF game was piss-poor preparation. We gave up 400 yards rushing and it was the worst Florida QB in over 20 years...a 3rd stringer who only threw 6 passes.

If Pruitt prepares defenses like that at UT, we'll be beating the hell out of them for years to come.

you saw a TFr with chigbu and stanley as starting receivers, wiht a piss poor OL, and a defense that didn't do him any favors, and a first year coachign staff. Granted he didn't live up to what we all expected of him but QBs typically make a massive jump between their FR and SO seasons. Fromm hadn't taken a college snap at this point either.

So eason should be benched based on his first year in the SEC, because the other guy did well in high school. Good Lord man.

No, the absolute fact is you didn't have any informaiton to make that decision, considering only one of hte two had ever played in college at the time.

everyone in the world lacked full information for the reason above.

Every observer of last year's fall practices who appeared on the SEC network said that Fromm was driving the offense better than Eason was. Eason will not succeed anywhere. The difference between the two QBs is night and day. If you are blind to that difference that is your problem.

First team all Pac 12 QB in 2019. He is loaded with talent and potential. It just didn't work out for him here.
