Ladies and Gentleman,

Meet Justin Fields attorney, Tom Mars, The Transfer Whisperer...….

quote:

Fields is expected to retain Tom Mars, the attorney who helped Michigan quarterback Shea Patterson gain immediate eligibility.

Mars has become a transfer whisperer, winning several waiver cases in 2018.

quote:

“I’ve helped more than a dozen student-athletes from different sports in the past year, but I don’t talk about it publicly unless there’s a good reason to do so,” Mars told The Blade when asked if he was involved in the Fields case.

LINK....

THis is the guy that torpedoed Ole Miss and brought down Hugh Freeze and exposed the escort cals while representing Houston Nutt in a totally unrelated separate case.

Not exactly the viscious greasy scumbag you want poking around your program turning over stones looking for something, anything, whatever he can destroy, to help his client.....

LINK.....................

Thanks Justin!!!

“Never in my life have I met anyone like him,” said Sean Patterson, Shea’s father. “I call it a Mars thing, where you really can’t understand unless you experience it.

He’s committed to you, and you really don’t want to be on the other side of him.”

This guy sounds like a fricking monster. Fields is really pissing me off now. If he's trying to spin some racism thing just so he can be eligible next season then I his football career tanks.

So, the NCAA has rules about sports agents contacting players while they're students, right? To protect them from outside influences, and being preyed upon by vultures....

Are there any rules about ambulance chaser vultures contacting high profile players and their families trying to cash in on a transfer?

Clearly, they've been in touch with this scumbag for quite some time. They didn't just call him up after the SECcg.

Georgia has a law about interfering with an Amatuer Athlete. Basically the Gurley Law, be interesting to see if another school tampered.
Though honestly, Fields was forcing our coaches into mistakes.

Dwan is a much better situation for us.

I actually felt bad for the kid a few days ago, which is sort of embarrassing given recent events.

So who pays this guy? I doubt he’s doing this for the goodness of his heart.

Mom and dad got enough scratch to cover this guys retainer?

I went to law school with him. He’s exceptionally smart and very pleasant IRL.

Saw below quote in regards to fake punt play on dawg nation's board. Take it for what it is worth quote: Perhaps it might. I know someone with firsthand knowledge of what happened on that fake punt. It was Justin Fields' call whether to run that fake punt based on Alabama's pre-snap alignment. He called it on, checked with the sideline to get the go-ahead, and the UGA staff called it off. He gives the thumbs-up as if to say "Okay, no problem," turns, and runs the fake punt anyway. Maybe he wanted his moment in the spotlight, maybe he thought it was there after all, who knows. Later, after the game, Kirby is blessing him out in the locker room about it, and Fields, fed up, yells "F it, I'm transferring." Smart is not a dude that's gonna throw his bus, so of course you won't hear anything about that from him. But all this heat he's catching about the fake punt and terrible call is misplaced. So the only way I can see it helping us is if Fields transfers.

Did anyone ever confirm this actually happened

Doesn't matter. We should have never even contemplated that in a tie game at midfield, and we sure as hell shouldn't have relied on a true freshman. As soon as Fields went in, the play was over because it tipped off Bama, and they knew what was up.

I'm not debating the pros or cons of the play, I was just asking if anyone ever confirmed it happened or not.

You are cancer. And should be banned.

You’ve typed this 5000 times. And nobody wants to read it. You ruin every thread you touch.

Please go hyperventilate in another thread.

Good question. Let’s ask Mr Mars law school chum...

I don’t think Kirby would call him out after the game to the media but he would have exploded on the sideline in live time if that was the case. No way he would contained himself.

Remember Dabo going off the punter for audibling a fake a few years ago?

Help me out with the timeline on this deal. It’s starting to unravel

So the USA Today/Mars leak occurred on Monday night, right?

But I just read an article on Mathis where his dad said Kirby and co. contacted them on Sunday.

What happened here?
