Tech somehow got the prime time spot this year

Well... Clemson got the prime time spot. They just happen to be playing GT when they do. That whole damned place is going to be orange.

$100 says we end up dumping the tech rivalry in the next 5-10 years.

It's kind of sad, actually.

I thought that maybe they were a trojan horse to get China into football. Now, with China threatening to shoot down the plane with our Speaker of the House on board, maybe Tech does a 180 and gets back to its roots on educating Georgia kids on fixing farm stuff and roads.

They've got some 'splaining to do as to why propellerheads at GTRI were involved with ginning up fake network connections in the Alfa Bank hoax in an attempt to frame Trump...

The beginning of the end happened in 1964 when they left the SEC. They really haven’t been the same since, and have been in steady decline since. We’re just seeing them hit rock bottom now.

The game has really changed since Paul Johnson left and CPJ was smart to see the writing on the wall. He could scrap and option attack his way to 8 even 10 wins. I went down to the Tech game the last 2 years. Their program is just so far behind the Clemson's, UGAs, and Ohio States and even mid-tier programs like Kentucky and UNC. Even my hardcore Tech football supporter friends are starting to go to fewer and fewer home games. If they get off to a bad start, Tech will probably be luck to have 15-20k at home games. Thankfully for them they don't play us at home this year.

It’s pretty much a home game even in Atlanta.

It is nice to not have to worry about losing to Tech but some of the Tech games from the 90's up to 2015 were the best games I've ever seen. The 95, 97, 99, 2013. The games were we didn't blow them out seemed to go down to the final play. Kind of same w/ almost every game except Bama lately. Kirby just grinds and pounds teams into submission.

Hines Ward willing a decimated UGA team to victory was one of my favorite games.
