My Dawg memory becomes vivid around 1991, and I'd say that this is the most dominant team that I can remember.

That last stretch of 2007 was still a little more impressive than this season imo, but that team is disqualified because they farted around until the Florida game and lost to South Carolina and Tennessee before that.

Runner-up for me would be 2003. That was the other season when we really really dragged teams and embarrassed people. Beat Clemson 30-0 to start the season. Had South Carolina beat by halftime. Sean Jones fumble recovery blowout at Tennessee. Odell Thurman 105 yard INT return Auburn arse kicking game. Ran up against Nick Saban's national championship LSU team twice and crapped the bed against Florida, however.

Pretty much. Every game has been a dominating win except for Notre Dame and the disaster at Auburn. Even the South Carolina game was never really in doubt and they controlled that game from beginning to end.

2014 team was pretty good. Beat ranked Clemson, Mizzou, Auburn and Louisville teams - all of them decided by at least 23 points.

I still can't explain how that team had such an inexplicable loss to Florida, though.

1980-1982. One NC and lost to the NC winner in the other 2 years.

If you really are old enough to remember 1980, which i doubt, then you've managed to forget that the 1980 team didn't exactly dominate people.

True! Most people don't realize but the population of the state back in 1980 was less than half what it is today, and Georgia had little football talent compared to today.

The 1980 team was a well coached, good team with a once in a lifetime player. Without Herschel, they likely are a 4 loss team.

Might be the most dominant season in recent memory, but we obviously need to fire our OC
