But the team needs to be on notice- they are being followed by "journalists" now. Don't go somewhere or be somewhere that you might not want to be published in the AJC.

Some college kids did what college kids do. Up to and including going to titty bars. And then a tragic accident happened. I think most sane people will not be shocked but will be grossed out by the creepy media

Ok, frick the AJC for a lot of this article, but frick them in particular for this graf:
They essentially just inferred that LeCroy and Bowles are fricking or at least dating Willock and McClendon. That is a ludicrous and unfounded leap of logic that is completely inappropriate and heartless in the wake of a 24-year-old girl’s death.

I've been to toppers. I wasn't a regular there, but if I got treated like a VIP whenever I went in, I might have been.
I don't know what difference it makes whether they were in Boars Head or Toppers, except to make the story more nefarious and get more clicks. Why even publish that. It simply tarnishes the reputation of the recently deceased, and isn't germane to the story, at all. Nobody ever claimed they were coming from a bible study, everyone already knew they were coming from some type of party atmosphere.

Something else of note, it doesn't seem like they failed to negotiate a curve, according to the step by step on the maps. They went off the road before the curve.
With all these details trickling out, for McClendon to be basically unscathed is a true miracle. Being the front seat of a car that splits two telephone poles in half, and being released from the hospital hours later with only bumps and bruises, is absolutely incredible.

Exactly. UGA needs to pull all press credentials for those clowns. No field access, no press conferences, no interviews. Why open the door for someone actively out to smear your name?

Worked at Toppers for a brief period. Really is just another club. Not like ball players can’t get girls when they want.
