What is silly is the top 2 SEC teams could end up playing 3 times and top 4 could end up playing twice.

Yep...
This sums up what many feel is the true pitfall of continuing with the SEC CG,
The same applies to Oregon and Ohio State. Both will be in the bracket in spite of one losing in Indianapolis.

Big 12 championship game is crazy. I think like 9 or 10 teams still have a “chance” to make it heading into the final week.

I think it really shows the pitfall of 12 friggin teams making the playoffs. It is rare and I mean RARE that after 13 games played there are any more than 4 or 5 teams that could legimitatley claim they deserve a chance to be national champion.

Notre Dame lost to northern Illinois. And they are still locked into the playoff with a win over dumpster fire USC on Saturday.
