When what you need to be thinking about is simply executing your swing and trusting the club you have in your hand and blocking all those other thoughts out.
Kirby is the guy on the tee obsessing over the water hazard on the left so hard that he ends up hitting it in the water hazard over on the right instead.

He obsessed over mistakes and needs to be more ok with them happening again.
He doesn’t want to kick a deep FG because of the Kick 6. We’re more hesitant returning punts because of the Simmons muff.
Those plays suck, but they can’t make you not go out and play football aggressively.
