Stetson said nothing wrong

Just when you think the curtains are about to fall on his crazy story, people that have apparently never seen him give an awkward interview, are paranoid that he might be rightfully raw about getting sprayed with bile. And now he’s suddenly the snob ingrate dickhead

Fakest of fake news and shitty takes in GSB history

If I’m Stet, I’m thrilled with getting out of town. A person can only handle so much negativity.

JD and Red Pants agreeing on something, and no downvoting; this means something.

I remember when no world leader used Twitter to communicate with people, then Trump started doing it, was mocked for it, now they all do.

I wonder if this will be the new normal with snubbed players wiping their arse with the media.

I hope so.

It is a little strange how many players are saying they were counted out all season and written off. They were preseason #3 and everyone had them winning the East at 11-1 or so.

Stetson has always seemed to be tenative in interviews. Look back at the Heisman telecast when his family was interviewed and he was asked some questions. He obviously isn't one of those people who can spit out great answers to any question on the fly.

I listened to what he said and it simply wasn't clear what he was talking about.

I'm not bashing him or hating him or anything else other than to say that his comments weren't clear at first blush and it led to a lot of people thinking he was bashing the fans. That, to me, means he wasn't communicating well. That's all. He's a DGD who defied the odds and those who didn't believe he could do it, but he isn't great at communicating in his interviews. That's all.

I love Stetson and appreciate all he did and am bummed he can't come back for one more season to earn himself a 3rd natty, but he wasn't clear in what he was saying and the evidence is how many people either misunderstood him outright or were confused by what he was saying.

It's strange until you realize that Kirby has the antidote to rat poison.

Jedi mind tricks.

Kirby is the fricking GOAT.

Or, and just hear me out here...

...there are a lot of guilty consciences out there who are hollering like hit Dawgs, because they heard what their conscience needed them to hear, rather than what was said.

He said, literally, the exact same thing that I saw numerous other Dawgs say in the aftermath of the Championship game.

Be careful of who's narrative you buy into.

Bingo. There's a political/communications maxim that says "If you're explaining, you're losing." That we're debating the object of his ire at being discounted means he needed a clearer message.

I thought Stet could have put at least a little thought into some words. He had an opportunity at a big stage moment and said something a little more important than something off the top of his head.

Gross.

Thank God we don’t have politicians in this program.

Come on man, this isn't some conspiracy theory or a subconscious desire to hate him, at least not from me. I'm a Bennett supporter and, like I said, wish he could come back for another season to lead us at QB.

I'm just calling it like I see it. I listened to the interview and wasn't sure what he was saying, as it sounded like he was directing his comments to the fans. Others were making similar observations, so that seems to confirm that his comments weren't as clear as they could've been. If you heard him correctly the first time, then good on you.

This much is clear imo

Stet won yet another day once again. Just by being himself. Instead not being who gimps wished he’d be

Geeze. What a grand strategy ?

They questioned him up to his last game and then made shite memes about his age when he skull fricked them.

The reason he is where he is right now is the reason he isn’t walking away gracefully. That fire burns pretty hot.

Im just on the side of the narrative putting forth that when someone uses the word "storylines", that person is referring to The Media.

Congratulations to us for hearing the word "storylines" and correctly making the association.

Anyone overreacting to this is just creating an incorrect narrative that will be used by The Media to generate more clicks.

I would like to think that folk could just acknowledge their mistake and move on but, apparently, a lot of folk can't and continue to deflect blame.

Maybe Stetson can burn them next.
