Some popular narratives-

"We're saving JT Daniels for the Florida game"

"We can't win a championship with Stetson Bennett. "

"We only won a championship because of a generational defense"

"We lost 8/11 of that defense to the draft, we'll take a step back and Bennett won't be able to keep up, can't win a championship"

"Why won't Bennett make his curtain call and move on with life, Beck's gonna transfer"

"He's an average QB who is a game manager, he won't even sniff the NFL"

"Even if he's a UDFA, he'll be taking a paycut from his NIL, might as well start his State Farm franchise while he's still popular and has name recognition"

"He got drunk and knocked on the wrong door in Dallas, this guy is finished"

Those are all from the past.

Here's the newest one-

"He'll just be holding Stafford's clip board"

Will the haters finally be right? Or will their world record streak of wrongness continue?

I just want to know why the Falcons passed on Carter and got an RB that will likely be out of the league in a few short years.

They could have gotten Kenny McIntosh in a later round.

smh, dumb Falcons.

You know, deep down, the Braintrust hates Stet for what he has done to them.

Stetson in LA has to be interesting in a lot of ways. It would be amazing to see him succeed there in a big way. It was fun seeing persistent doubters Jordan Rodgers and Booger McFarland exposed. I want to see more of that.

With as banged up as Stafford has been, Bennett will start at least 3 games this season.

What?

Lots of wear and tear in college.
It isn't definitive of a short shelf life. But there are numbers to back up a lifespan based on carries.

It's always amazed me how Dawgs fans think it's some sort of manifest destiny that the Falcons should take Georgia players just b/c they are the local team or they'll cheer for the team w/the most Dawgs.

It's arrogance.

I haven't seen anyone mention manifest destiny. Or even imply it.

Dawg fans look at the piss poor decisions by the organization.
Shaffer over Salyer?
Go ahead and defend that pick.

Jordan Rodgers sucks. I typically like Booger but definitely don’t agree with him on SBIV. I can’t wait till they are proven wrong.
