Maybe after the Braves won in '95, the Olympics ushered in a 21 year era of sadness for Atlanta sports. I know that the Super Bowl was in 2017, but if my theory holds true, we should be good after July 19... just in time for football season to start 6 weeks later.

Yeah but Tripp dropped one in the endzone and we had to kick a FG as a result. Make that TD plus the XP and we win the game. Plus he was an abortion all year long. He and Brooks Conrad should go throw rocks at each other's heads on an island far, far away.

I've been convincing myself that this is a cycle that's about to start turning in our favor.
The Braves should start being very good in the next couple of years. I think a .500 year this year puts us within striking distance of a wild card spot in late September.
The Falcons will probably have a down year next year just dealing with the superbowl hangover that is very real. 2018 we should be back to kicking asses. There's just too much good in place for us not to.
The Dawgs are positioning themselves to have very strong 2018/2019 campaigns. This year will tell how much progress Smart makes as a coach in year 2.
The Hawks will always compete and be there but won't ever get to the finals. I've resided to this fact and am comfortable with it.

Counting the one we just won, the Dawgs will win 3 titles in the next 6 or years.
