I dunno about that bro... Nate Frazier was ranked the #2 RB in the country by at least one service and Rivals and ESPN had Bowens and Dwight Phillips both ranked in the top 10. Not to mention Phillips being a state champion sprinter.

He was in the doghouse big time here with the reckless driving. He’s a dumbass for driving like he did, but not for transferring. Hope he can land somewhere to play and also calm down on the gas pedal.

I'm not who you responded to but I see where VHS is coming from. There are "whiffs" in recruiting and whiffs in real life on the field. It's UGA so we're RARELY going to whiff when it comes to recruiting rankings at RB, as you haev pointed out. The guys on our roster and recent rosters were all highly rated which is nice.
But what about on the field? Frazier is a stud. Phillips and Bowens haven't proven a single thing yet on the field. Neither Robinson did anythign meaningful. Kendall Milton took 4 years to really come into form and even then he wasn't an AA caliber guy. Etienne was solid but he transferred in. Daijuan was solid but not a game-takeover kinda guy. You've gotta go back 3/4 years when we had Zamir/McIntosh when we had a backfield that could really truly punsih defenses and absolutely takeover a game. Spring recruiting rankings aside we haven't really been all that hot at RB lately.

As a Dalton High alum, it broke my heart that we never made Jamhyr Gibbs a priority. It was bad enough to see him suit up for GT, but then to transfer to Bama?

Just discovered that Beau Atkinson is a white guy. Would have to train myself to tune out all of the Chaz Chambliss comparisons, even though Beau Atkinson is way more gangly and stretched out looking than Chambliss.
