How he was graded by the coaches based on his responsibilities?

Probably as a solid upperclassman player who knows the defense and fills his role. Doesn’t make him a standout player though.
What are you trying to bait me into lol?
You want me to be mad that a senior linebacker is coming back next year? I don’t get the “fans” who are mad at him for it.

Grades have nothing to do with age. It is how you performed your duties on each play. Graded by the coaches. We don’t know what his duties are on each play. Stats can tell some of the story, but the point is we don’t know the full picture. I don’t either. They dudes who coach on of the best defenses and won the last 2 natties do…yet, we have fans who shite on the guy. It’s odd.

I counted 5 times in the first half on obvioius situations where Chaz Chambliss went balls to the wall off the edge after the quarterback. There was no chipping a tight end. No trying to set the edge. He never got within 7 feet of the quarterback and it just looked goofy and sad.

I'd hope that we can at least agree that Chaz Chambliss is completely useless as a pass rusher.

The one play in this game where I actually focused in and watched chambliss he just stood there. I guess that was his assignment. Ok Chaz just go out there and stand there. Got it? Good. *slaps his arse*

Are you serious?
He was probably covering his gap. With discipline.

I bet you that the coaches did give him a compliment on film review.
Do your job.

You didn’t read the thread. You didn’t read my post.
You’re just outraged but that’s par for the course for most Americans these days. Just finding things to be outraged by.

Are you serious = shock that you don't understand that he has a role in each play.

It still sounds like you don't understand by trying to change the subject about some faux outrage.

Did you even watch the video? Chambliss is a 1st and 2nd down LB which means he needs enough arse to stone a pulling OLman and collapse/defend his gaps against the run. LBs aren’t told to go all out after the QB every play.

Maybe he’s not an elite pass rusher but that’s not his gig. Also, he’s obviously the best we have at his job or he wouldn’t be playing.

He got stoned plenty of times.

He got into the pocket a few times.

Just like lots of other players.

Violent hips insinuation that he was full all out pass rush is an attempt to insinuate that he wasn't trying to press through the tackle (i.e. not give up an escape lane for an athletic qb who could hurt the defense outside of the pocket).

I don't agree with that implication.

All I said was that the one time I watched him he just stood there for that play. I didn’t say he did a bad job of it. Sheesh. Calm down man.

Why did he try to beat the right tackle to the outside then?
