Not good, imo.

This already shitty off-season could turn into a miserable one if CTG leaves. Anyone have info on CTG?

Who really cares? His defense can't stop the run, I mean we had 10 NFL players on D last year. That didn't work out well

This place is depressing. I hate to be super Disney but you frickers are making me do it. We have a damn good team next year. Return 11 players on offense and the defense will be ok not great but ok. That said we have a fine team and who gives a shite what a few recruits say? We won't remember them in a month anyway.

I don't like the depressing shite either but it looks like our recruiting class might come up well short of their goal, we let our state get raided by other SEC schools in the process and now we may lose our DC and upper tier recruiter. That's just the reality we may be facing and deserves discussion Imo

Also, we might forget these names in a month, but we'll more than likely know them and miss them in a couple of years when they're making contributions for other teams and we have 76 guys on scholarship.

Sad, but true. I have to say I was far more excited about CTG when he first came on board than I am now that we've had him for awhile. I'm trying real hard to be optimistic about this year, because these are the guys he recruited and they have grown up in his 3-4 scheme, but damn. The fact that he's even being talked about for a new job while we're still waiting for him to perform on this one just leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

the good news is that they are looking at ravens LB coach ted monachino,..

just keep your fingers crossed and hope for either they stick to the 4-3 (which i dont see likely) or they go with someone already in the league with ted and yall are good.

Yeah, hopefully Chip will realize he can do a lot better than CTG.

Hell, maybe they'll end up hiring Kirby away from Bama. That would be a nice pick-me-up.

I disagree that CTG is mediocre. What I saw last year was a lot of NFL talent going half-arse effort wise until their manhood got called out before Fl.

Washington gave no effort against the run all season. John Jenkins was at half throttle most of the season. Ogletree couldn't shed blockers against the run(just too small for inside). And Rambo didn't run support like he did in the previous year.
