Teams that did not get blown out today.

Why does WHEN matter? Aggies got destroyed by Bama earlier, and never looked like an elite team.

Ohio State is the team that doesn’t look elite, and never has in the playoffs except for the first season.

How many times have we heard excuses made for media darling teams with early bad losses that “ its about the kind of football they are playing now”... or “the conference Championship is the first round of the playoffs” ... it’s bullshite on an ever changing set of rules to justify TV revenues. This is why we played Bama and lost in the last moment of the NC game... even though they didn’t even win their Division or play in the Championship game. The rules will change to fit TV revenues. It is not logical or honest, you just have to accept it for what it is.

Osu made it in 16 over penn state bc osu had 1 loss to psus 2 losses

That was easily the worst decision the committee has ever made. OSU and PSU both had 11 wins, PSU won the conference and beat OSU head to head but OSU got in anyways.

It's time to move to the FCS model where every conference champion gets into the playoff. I'm in for a 16 team format.

That seems logical, but bad for business

Because, the playoffs are at the end of the season. We have been told the playoffs are for the best 4 teams at the end of the season...

And the Big 10 had to "tweak" their rules for this season just to get tOSU into the Big 10 championship game. And are doing it again to make sure that tOSU won't have players out due to Kung Flu.

Which, of course, means they'll win it all this year.

That's probably the eventual goal. Hours more sports shows talking about "Who should be in at 15 or 16" and "How can the committee snub a 9-loss Arizona State" and that assorted bullshite. Plus *billions* more in betting opportunities.

We had to play Bama again because Ohio State lost 2 games. They got lucky, and of course we paid a price for that luck. Its part of the curse we live with.

They have 3 losses. What's the point of even playing games if wins and losses don't matter? Hell, once daniels started playing we've looked great amd we only have 2 losses! Why not us?

You misunderstood what I was saying. Georgia is not in the final four so I don't care who is in the final four. Florida had two regular season losses, so they don't deserve to be in, either. If Florida and Ohio St played next week with everything on the line, I would pick Florida. I think Florida and A&M are both better teams today than Ohio State.

Notre Dame is the only team in America that can be blown out in the CCG and make the round of four. I look for Alabama to hang about 45 on them.

So, pretty much a routine day at the office for Bama, then?

We actually had covid vs Bama and UF, so those games do not count. We are 7-0 now.
