Notre Dame and Ohio State are media darlings and I expect both to be in the CFP. Both are very underwhelming teams. I would expect blow-out losses to Ala and Clem in the first round. A&M, I believe, is better than either one. The CFP committee does not like two teams from the same conference to make the round of four. Frankly, I would put Florida as being in the top four, just looking at it football-wise with no politics or anything else involved in it. It pains me to say it it but that Florida team last night would light up Notre Dame and/or Ohio State. Thankfully, a lot of their talent leaves after this season.

Notre Dame and Clemson are in the same conference, that is why they played in the acc championship game.

It is ignorant that 2 teams could play each other 3 times in a season especially given last night nor should the ranking be manipulated in anyway other than ranking 1-4 based on actual play.

The ranking was always supposed to be the best 4 teams as they are, going into the playoffs.

They have 3 losses. What's the point of even playing games if wins and losses don't matter? Hell, once daniels started playing we've looked great amd we only have 2 losses! Why not us?

Sigh

Bama made it in 17 because ohio state had 2 losses including the worst of the year

Osu made it in 16 over penn state bc osu had 1 loss to psus 2 losses

It's common sense and logic folks, not conspiracy

Which middle-aged fellow do you think will finally grow up first and get an adult haircut. Jessie Palmer or Marty Smith?

I don't think they get to decide their hair styles. Their employer chooses that for them, along with their clothes and makeup. Dolls talking on the TeeVee telling me everything I need to know, and everything I should feel. And if it don't feel real, something must be wrong with me.

Well Marty smith is literally a cartoon character likely still adjusting to life as a real boy so I'll go palmer

Whichever of them sets the record for oldest male with that hairdo, it won’t last long. Because Tebow is gonna keep his all the way to the nursing home

Someone must end this reign of terror!

It's obviously not going to be georgia

Who will it be?

Ohio State is the most likely, I guess.

This ohio state team is no where near as good as last year's. Two blowouts and a Bama Clemson rematch.

Oh they suck.

I'm talking next year and beyond.

As Jeff stated. It's Clemson/Bama again this year.

Bama is going to run through ND just like they did last time. Maybe worse. There isn't a good choice for 4 seed. They need to go ahead and put in Cincinnati or Coastal Carolina so people can see how idiotic that conversation really is. Nothing would stop that whole, "they belong" conversation faster than watching Bama beat one of them by 60 points.

I actually agree with this. I'm not sure A&M or ND should be in it, so why not go ahead and put one of the two you mentioned and get it our of the way. On some levels I almost expect to see the committee do that, just to show everybody that the G5 schools are given consideration when deserved.

I just hope if we go to the Peach against Cincy we don't pull an Auburn with UCF. These bowl games always feel like lose-lose for us. Like Hawaii in the Sugar back in the day.

We ran like a truck through Hawaii. Maybe a better example would have been Texas....but your point stands.

When you don't get an exciting match up it is easy for the kids to get complacent and lose a game they have no business losing.

Don't disagree, but after we won, all the talk was well we were supposed to. I consider Texas to be a more legit team than Hawaii, but I think we're probably just arguing semantics. I just think Cincy is more similar in stature to what Hawaii was from a team and conference perspective.

I remember their little meth-smoking yo-boi QB was supposed to be hot shite. I remember their fans as fat subhuman volcano-god worshipping mud people with monkey blood running through their veins. Playing that game was an insult.

Trolling them on their board for a month was a gift and getting banned after the game was a privilege.
