and coaches putting players in positions to make plays. I’m confident that Lanning and Kirby will have the defense schooled and ready for LSU’s high-power O, but can Coley pull enough out of his nether region to help prop the D up? I think if we can score 28 we win.

The play calling has been better and more aggressive the past two weeks. However, Jake was terrible against A&M and GT is one of the worst power 5 teams in America so it's hard to tell. Jake his to hit his check downs early and be accurate in his downfield passing. We need Florida game Jake to come back.

It’s on Fromm more than anyone else. Fromm is gonna have to play his best game ever.

Tyler Simmons just said in an interview something alongs the lines of...

"We have a ton of plays that we haven't run yet, and we're going to try to put them all out on the field and show everyone what we've been working on at practice."

I'll take it with a grain fo salt, but it's interesting that he decided to say that.

If this is true, it is the stupidest strategy ever. It baffles my mind to think that any team would hold out its best plays until the postseason.

Well, we can only hope that there is innovation on offense that we haven't seen all season because it's going to take a minor miracle for us to win this game.

If I would have heard this during the regular season i’d be pissed.

But they made it so if you can make it this far without showing your cards then all the better.

That's why I think it's just BS media talk, but it would be funny in hindsight if they team had just been sandbagging it until the postseason.

So we lost to SCar and almost lost 2 more because we were holding out? No way. I know it's hard to accept, but Coley just sucks that bad. Real poor decision to just let him take over after fatass left.

This has actually crossed my mind several times because it's not a horrible strategy if you're confident you're making it to Atlanta.

But my mind always wanders back to the South Carolina game where we couldn't buy points. There's no way Kirby would allow effective plays to stay in his pocket in that situation.

It does take some time to implement an offense. Time (one week) will tell if we're finally coming to fruition with Coley's schemes. My heart says they've been slowly opening up the playbook, my brain says you fire on as many cylinders as you can all season.

Bottom line; Coley, Fromm and our receivers have to perform at their best to beat LSU. But my head also says that this will be a dominant showing by our D and, thus, my heart says we have a fairly good chance to win.

It’s actually not hard for me to believe with a roster full of inexperienced receivers

Oh I don't buy the sandbagging theory at all.

Just saying it would be kind of funny if we randomly cranked up our offense over the next 3 games and won a title.

Well, if it's an option, I'm down for 3-0 here on out, 45 pts a game the usual 10 points per game allowed. I'd be cool with that.

He's going to have to trust his receivers and not hesitate. The receivers cannot have the dropseys. They have to be aggressive and lights out as well. This could be a coming out party for someone in that WR room..."pressure is a privilege"

Is a lesser known WR corps a benefit because there's not as much tape to game plan for?

In an interview at the start of the season, he said he was going to be the man this year. So consider me a skeptic.

Got to have one before you can have the other. I think the offense is ready to prove themselves.
